Since Friday Evening we've got a visitor from Germany - HPM - chairperson of the Linux4Afrika organisation which is a FreiOSS community project.
This time it's less about the computer, but in the past two day we more worried about Hilltop and L4A's Partners and the Software used - more particular about the government requiring Office 2007 as a minimum for office Training.
Instead of simply adding it to our local Windows Installation we decided to try it out with Wine - Running Windows Software in a Linux TerminalServer system is not that easy ...

The second day has started after some drawbacks which included

Anyhow - we're finally up and running Ubuntu 12.04 with LTSP Server, running our services and Office 2007 alongside Libreoffice - in Unity 2D !

The next two days we'll train our staff run more training and experience with hopefully some of our centers to be upgraded with immedeate effect.
